SITTING ROOMThe spacious sitting room (10m x 5m) has 3 French windows leading onto a terracotta tiled balcony that overlooks the Obidos lagoon and out to sea. Furnishings include two large contemporary leather sofas and a chaise-longue, glass topped occasional tables and a CD player. Features include Persian rugs, contemporary oil paintings, a wood burning fire with heated ducted air and is illuminated by a number of table lamps, wall lamps and up lighters. Wood for the fire is available locally. |
KITCHENA special feature of the holiday villa is the open plan kitchen/dining/family room (15 m x 5 m). With glazed floor tiles and three double French windows, a modern relaxed living space in a contemporary setting is provided. The French windows give access to an extensive terracotta tiled terrace suitable for al fresco dining. The kitchen has fully fitted oak veneer units and black granite work surfaces. It features the latest 'Teka' appliances including electric oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher and American style fridge/freezer. It has a large island unit containing separate sink and power points, a breakfast bar on 2 sides and 4 leather bar stools. It is fully equipped and has ample crockery, cutlery and glassware for 12. Appliances include an electric juicer, food processor, toaster, and electric kettle. LAUNDRYAdjoining the kitchen is a fully fitted laundry comprising washing machine, tumble drier, iron and ironing board and storage for sporting equipment, such as golf clubs. A back door leads to the sheltered car parking area accommodating 3 cars. DININGThe dining area has an oak table which can comfortably seat 12 people on matching ladder backed oak chairs. FAMILY AREAThe family area at the far end has 3 large comfortable sofas, stereo radio/tape/CD player and satellite television with DVD player. The two double bedded rooms and the third twin room are on the first floor. Each bedroom has windows on two sides with views of the Obidos lagoon and feature pale wooden flooring and built-in fitted wardrobes in beech wood.
